Segment Sales Development Representative interview questions

Entire process from first phone screen to rejection was 12 days. The team was incredibly transparent, prepared, understanding, emphathetic, compassionate.. The adjectives could continue. I wish that every tech interview process was run as smoothly as Segment. Huge shoutout to the recruiter who took the time to actually give me a call on 8/5 to explain where I had fumbled in the final interview. She took time out of her day to explain how I can improve for the next process. To any future candidates for SDR roles, the mock discovery call will make or break you. If you are transitioning careers, do not do what I did. Spend less time preparing scripting and more time running through exercises on the phone with friends/colleagues/mentors. I scripted far too much, became extremely nervous, reverted to the script, and dominated the conversation. Thank you again to everybody at Segment!

Very positive experience with the HR. The representative was very professional. The representative conducted the phone screening with me and I moved to the next step. In the next step, I met with the Manager where I could not show the best.
