I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Semaphore (Belgrade, Central Serbia) in Mar 2019
Interview
Process took two interviews via Skype. First one was with an HR and operations executive where we went through my CV and relevant experience. Generally, there was no clear explanation of what does the position consists of and more importantly how is success on the position measured.
Also, I was literally forced into saying now much money I expect with explanation that the sum directly determines the future of the interview and it's outcome. When I proposed that there should be a budget already in place from their end so they can reveal it and I can advise if it works for me, the ball was back in my court and I was again asked to advise about my price.
The second interview was with the person who is currently assigned to work as support manager, where questions were targeted on which solutions did I use to set up, measure and follow up with my previous teams. It seemed there is a certain block towards quantifying the success of the team and yet again, no clear explanation on how does the company grade manager's success. Was a good talk though, yet to unsatisfying end information wise.
I was rejected via email, with explanation that I have experience and knowledge for the position, but I will not be a god fit for the team. Whoch is perfectly plausible and OK, yet the last sentence of the email said that they hope we will cooperate in the future. Even though I am not a fit for the team. An obvious generic answer.
They have a long way to go in terms of fine details during the recruitment process as many questions are irrelevant for screening, plus it all comes down to personal impression, where your experience is much less important.
