Interview
Bonne approche avec une bonne équipe HR et un follow up constant mais long process et peu de feedback. Basé sur le feeling plus que sur la technique. Peu de transparence quant aux autres candidats.

Question 1
Expliquer votre background en marketing et une campagne dont vous êtes fiers
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Semrush (London, England) in Sept 2022
Interview
Very straightforward interview process but very focused on marketing campaigns: HR screening - Asked about profile and experience. She was mainly interested on hearing examples about past marketing campaigns I managed. Hiring manager: Very similar to the HR screening, in the sense that she was very focused on hearing my experience with marketing campaigns. The difference is that she also asked about channel mix and regional strategies. Marketing VP: It was great to see a VP involved in the hiring process. Her questions were similar to the ones of the previous stages, with a couple more. But mainly we talked about how to tackle channel mix and regional marketing strategies. I do believe I did an excellent job at the interview, I felt like I answered all the questions on point, and that my knowledge about marketing and the company was the right one. However I was rejected because I "lacked of branding and project managment skills", which really surprised me as they never asked a single question about that (it wasn´t either specified in the job description). I didn't feel I received a proper feedback or a valid reason for rejection. At the end I think my profile didn´t match the position or the company culture (however this is something that can be easily identified during the HR screening stage).
