I was initially contacted by a recruiter who then had me speak to the head of the department I would be working for. From there, I had an interview scheduled on sight with the head supervisor of that department. I filled out a paper application and then was taken to a conference room. From there, I was asked some rather simple questions. A majority of the interview was just them telling me how much work is involved, how much disciplinary actions I would need to follow through with, and how the people there probably won't like me. It was very strange because it almost seemed as if they were trying to convince me how awful the job was. I asked about the turnover rate of this position and did not receive a very clear answer. In addition to this, the "occasional overtime" turns out to be 54-58 hour work weeks, EVERY week. Needless to say, I turned down the offer I was given.
