The interview process seemed very normal to me. I was reached out to by a talent acquisitionist about two weeks after applying and they were friendly. We scheduled a time to talk after receiving an email saying they were looking forward to discussing this position with me. About 45 minutes into the call, the talent acquisitionist actually suggested that I apply for a Sales Development Role instead because of my experiences and background. They then told me that the position I applied for requires 3-5 years experience while the application said that I only needed 1-3.
That being said, I thought it over and decided I wanted to continue through the process with the Customer Success Manager role in mind and was told that they didn't want to continue unless it was as a Sales Development Representative. Very confusing how they wanted to move along at first as a Customer Success Manager then basically pulled the plug.
