I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SharkNinja (Needham, MA) in May 2024
Interview
The entire interview process required an on-site interview which is totally unnecessary and very rare for tech companies these days. The hiring manager also mentioned there's no flexibility for remote work for this position.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SharkNinja (London, England) in Dec 2020
Interview
The interview process instigated with a telephoning screening by the GM of the London office, following a really enjoyable and successful discussion, this was followed by a group/panel interview conducted by team managers and directors from across varying department's within SharkNinja. The principal of this interview technique was used firstly, to determine my suitability for the role, but also to help better understand which department/category would best suit my skillset, if successful! The interview was conducted over Teams due to COVID, it was quite a unique experience - a first for me. As daunting as a panel interview may sound, it ran very smoothly, largely aided by the cordialness of team interviewing, this quickly helped settle any nerves. The total interview process last around 3 weeks; it was a really positive experience. Interviews can be a pretty daunting topic, however this was handled brilliantly. Not only were the team all affable, but the the communications surrounding the interview were great; the apprehension of waiting can be a difficult thing to deal with during interviews, but it was satisfying being firmly kept in the loop on feedback/next steps. Overall, a very positive experience!
