Easy, you sit on a room with 2-3 people and they ask you 11/12 situational based questions. Then you get a tour. Make sure you sell yourself and have a personality while answering .
It was a pretty smooth process. I submitted an application which was a referral from someone who worked for the county. I then went in for an interview. I was then offered the job shortly after.

A lot of put of pocket cost. Doctor visit to approve physical that is out of pocket. They dont accept degrees, they want transcripts which is out of pocket. It's practically like youre covering the costs of hiring background. The sgt. was nice. He implied overtime was big there.
