Management and HR lack professional skills. After submitting my application I received a call back within a day or two. I interviewed in 2017 for a staff position. Have enough respect for your candidates to follow through on the process. Whichever way it goes, I just wanted closure. During the hiring process, candidates gather information and form thoughts about the organization as well. The manager was young and seemed to lack confidence as a manager. Her response about her managerial style had a negative undertone, she seemed defensive and lacked insight about her management skills.
