I applied through university. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams (Seattle, WA) in May 2012
Interview
I had a friend who suggested the position to me. I was contacted almost immediately after submitting my resume. There was one 20-30 min interview and a store visit. After that there were a few more phone calls to figure out the details and complete paperwork. That part went through fairly quickly, however there was a longer gap between the paper work going through and the actual start date due to my HR contact changing positions. After calling the HR department and clearing things up, everything else went smoothly.

Question 1
Nothing difficult or unexpected. They were probably desperate for intern. As long as you carry yourself professionally and have a good attitude they will probably hire you. They are looking for people who would be a good fit for the company long tern and would be willing to stay after the internship.
