I applied online. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams
Interview
Simple and concise. The people were nice enough and were willing to listen and it flowed like a conversation. Overall, it was very informal, not like someone interrogating you and made it seem like they were genuinely interested in learning more about you.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What was the most challenging situation that you had to deal with?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams (Seattle, WA) in Feb 2013
Interview
It started with a phone interview where they asked about your experience with sales and management, why you think you would be a good fit, and where you would ideally like to be placed. Then you go into the store where you would potentially be placed and do a store interview where they give you a packet of questions to ask the store manager and the assistant manager (both who you work really closely with during the internship). It all happened within about 3 weeks

The interviewer was friendly and energetic. He allowed me to asks questions for most of the interview rather than simply asking me questions, which made me feel this company cares about their employees.

Question 1
What motivates you?
What would be your definition of teamwork?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams (Buffalo, NY) in Jan 2021
Interview
Fairly standard interview process; including an initial screening done over Zoom, a store walkthrough, and final interview with the district manager. Interview questions were fair and were important to the functions of the work done during the internship.
