I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Shift Paradigm (Austin, TX) in May 2015
Interview
Interviewing is done through a top-down process, with an interview with the full QA team at the end. QA positions are training positions, so capability and potential to learn can be more important than any previous experience. I met with multiple teams within the company, as the QA team works closely with almost all the different teams to ensure work is up to company and client standards on the back end. Your resume will be viewed by multiple people. There is also a brief QA test to see how you would approach the work.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you handle working with people in different offices, and how would you best communicate an issue with remote workers?

Interview
It spanned about a month with 3 or 4 phone interviews and one in-person interview. Trendline has a top-down interview style where every employee interviews first with one of our two founders before interviewing with team managers and finally with members of the team itself. It may seem long but they are very thorough in finding candidates who will really be the right fit for the position

Interview
Interview is conducted as "top/down", where the first person who you speak with is the co-founder of the company (Andrew Kordek). There is a phone interview with him, and if he thinks you'd be a good fit for the company, then you are brought in to the office to interview with the head of whatever team you are interviewing for.
Yes! My favorite interview question in the whole wide world. You would be surprised as to how many people say they suck at nothing.
I suck at basketball, singing and sometimes having a lot of patience...
Thanks for writing up the the review on your interview experience.
