Interview
I gave Engineering Manager interview with ShipBob and they had a very detailed and structured interview process. 1st round - Hiring Manager The questions were around People Management, Performance Reviews, Culture fit and little bit Technical as well. 2nd round - Case Study I had to submit a high level technical design for a real time case study and a follow up deep dive on the design. It was a good detailed technical discussion and the interviewer questioned every aspect of the design. 3rd round - Product Head Discussion The questions were around Product decisions, Project execution, Timeline management, People allocation. 4th round - VP Engineering The questions were around People management, Culture, Career path of me and the team, Succession management and technical as well. The recruiter orchestrated the entire interview process as smoothly as possible. Be it the timing of the interview, setting up the context, feedback and the follow-ups - everything was precise and executed to perfection.
