I applied online. I interviewed at Siege Management Group (Pittsburgh, PA) in Jun 2018
Interview
I went in for an interview and the man who met me took me into his office. From the get go he seemed genuinely disinterested from even asking the questions and hearing my answers. I tried to put that in the back of my mind but it was hard to concentrate when the person in front of you who is interviewing you is genuinely being dismissive and rude. After the interview I was instructed to wait for a call, same as any interview. While at my current job I called in, it had been more than a week at this point. The receptionist answered, I asked how the process was going, I heard her ask the man that interviewed me, he told her to hang up. I have no idea why he is even a recruiter if he can’t pay attention during an interview and doesn’t show the values of the company, both of them. It was a very disheartening experience with this company. I’ve been told I was not the choice by other companies before in a more professional manner.

Interview
Applied for Project Management position posted online. I received a call the next day. There was a brief (5-7 minuets) phone screen. They asked what I was looking to do, a little bit about my previous work history, were I was located, and what my availability was. I was then pitched on this great advancement opportunity and a generic overview of the company and position. I was offered an interview for the following day. I came in and sat in a very small lobby watching sports center. I then met with the “hiring manager” who turned out to be the owner of the company. He was a very young, nice guy. I heard again about the company for roughly 20 minuets after being asked the same questions i had already answered on the phone. At the end, I was still unsure of what Siege really did. I got a call later that day to come in for a second round interview the following day. After doing further research and talking with a previous HR employee, I learned that their idea of “project manager” was once you’ve made it to the top (you have to start entry-level in D2D direct sales) and are running your own branch is when you are considered a “project manager”. I declined the 2nd round.
