The process began with a significant delay, as I didn't receive a response to my application for three months after I applied online. I finally got a call from a recruiter and was scheduled an interview, you are sent the interview questions 30 minutes prior to the start time of your interview online.
The interview consisted of a six person panel from various areas of the college. The environment felt very cold and impersonal, as the panelists read the questions word for word from the paper, including punctuation, without any conversational feedback or engagement. Their visible lack of enthusiasm and drained energy was honestly discouraging, it did not seem like a positive or high energy place to work, and it quickly made me lose interest in the role. I was told I’d hear back in three weeks due to the winter break and processing time, which is already pretty long- That deadline passed with no word, and I was ghosted until a generic rejection email arrived in the fourth week. Between the three month initial wait and the robotic interview style, the entire experience felt unprofessional and like a waste of time.
