Applied through LinkedIn, went through a phone screen and a first round interview on May 30th. Then came total silence. I didn't hear anything, but I found out the job had been removed from both their site and LinkedIn, which can only mean the position had been filled.
Since when is it professionally acceptable to not contact a person who interviewed and have him/her/them determine that they're no longer a candidate? I will be posting about this on Monday July 1st on LinkedIn. While I will be fair, I will make certain that the lack of communication is the focal point.
