The initial interview felt rushed and impersonal, with generic questions that didn’t explore my qualifications or vision for the role. It lacked depth and gave little insight into the company’s culture or expectations for a Practice Manager.

Question 1
How do you prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively when overseeing both administrative duties and clinical operations in a busy practice
Easygoing, casual, but informative. The process took a few weeks; but I interviewed early-on. I felt relaxed, but informed of the company and its policies, and was encouraged to be myself and allow my personality to shine.
I applied online. I interviewed at Small Door Veterinary (New York, NY) in May 2023
Interview
The interview process with Small Door was a very enjoyable one. I had interviewed prior to recently accepting my current position with them and unfortunately at the time had to decline this offer. The second time around, they did not hesitate to start up the interview process again. I got to meet and chat with multiple employees and got to hear their real feedback, which was all great.

Question 1
I was asked to share a bit about myself which is a question that I love. It shows the company truly wants to know who you are both as an individual and a professional.
