The interview process at Smartex involved several stages. It began with an initial conversation with HR, which was straightforward and easy. This was followed by an IQ test and an English proficiency assessment. Subsequently, I was asked to prepare a presentation deck.
The next step was an in-person meeting with the Marketing team, which included another logical reasoning test. After this, they conducted reference checks, followed by a final interview with both the department head and HR.
Despite progressing through multiple phases and dedicating significant time, including on-site meetings, I was eventually informed that the vacancy was being closed due to an internal team reorganization. While I understand the company’s need to reassess internal structures, the extensive process felt excessive, especially considering the final outcome. It would be helpful for future candidates if the internal decision-making process was more streamlined to avoid unnecessary time investment.
