I was only given a written exam containing technical and essay questions. While I easily got through the technical questions. The essay questions are behavioral and apparently unrelated to role I was applying for; those questions are more relevant for a sales/marketing role than for bookkeeping/accounting.
After answering their exam, their talent acquisition team did not get back to me even after following up. No more interviews but I got ghosted. The TA team should be more professional enough to respond to feedback and communicate on the progress of each application.
Also, soft skills do not just come out instantly. They should not expect applicants to have salesperson-like soft skills during the application just to progress to the next stages. Soft skills do not just come out instantly. At some point in the applicants' lives, their soft skills can be drained through environmental factors, but they can fortunately be relearned.
