Crystal and I were already acquaintances when I told her I was looking for a part-time job. My job isn't necessarily rocket science, but it does take a capable person who is organized, good with customer service, and comfortable with all things online.
Crystal was and always is clear about her expectations regarding my role and the hours I would fill each week. She listened to my needs and explained hers, and all in all it was a short meeting.
It was followed up by screen-shared training sessions, employee manuals and good communication. I felt eased into the work and caught on quickly with Crystal's guidance.
