It was pretty streamlined. The recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn. We had a chat and that went really well. The next day they sent a take home assessment from coderbyte. It was kinda challenging if I remember correctly. The rules for it are as follows:
Single Sitting: Once you begin the assessment, it must be completed in one sitting (approx. 45-60 minutes).
Camera On: Keep your camera on throughout the assessment, as fraud detection will be active.
Stay Focused: Please avoid distractions and stay on the assessment screen for the entire duration.
Windows/Monitors: Please avoid jumping between multiple windows or monitors while taking the assessment, as this will be monitored.
I genuinely cant remember the questions though.
However they will help prep you before the assessment. Not with technical stuff, but just trying to get you comfortable, which I appreciate.
If you do well, then you do an online interview. The interviewers were super professional and quite nice. Which was great since I was a bundle of nerves at that point. The interview was about 3 hours and outside of a smaller coding assessment most was just chatting and seeing my thought process and what I knew.
After that it took about a week for a response and I accepted the position.
