I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sogeti (Luxembourg) in Mar 2018
Interview
The process started promissing. The recruiter who contacted me was involved, kept in contact throughout the process with prompt responses to my messages. The scheduling of the technical interview was quite chaotic but I got over that.
The next day after the technical interview I got an offer I rejected quite quicky as it was much lower than I expected.
After receiving my rejection email, I got a request from another recruiter to have a phone call to discuss my reasons. I mentioned on the phone that I speak a little bit of French and instantly he switched to talking in French, I managed to understand 50% of his speech about how great the company is and how they never underestimated their employees. After finishing his speech, I eventually managed to say something. When I told him I've seen better offers in Luxembourg and this is why I rejected the offer I got an "OK bye" mid-sentence. Quite impolite.
Very unorganised.Hr scheduled the call on one salary but after interview denied giving that salary.not recommended at all.Very lengthy process took months of time to get the feedback after that also didnt offer as per expected
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Sogeti (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2020
Interview
Long process, but good experience. first Phone call from HR for 30 mins, next Phone call Sr. Architect for 45 mins, In person 3 hours interview with 7 people
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Phone: HR Interview: Basic stuff about technical. Salary details/benefits
Phone: Architect interview: Pure technical on Architect level. All related to OOPS, Patterns etc..Questions were good and technically challenging. Which I really enjoyed
In person interview with 7 people:
1. HR...Regular questions
2. Sr VP: Behavioral questions. He was on phone all the time, not sure he is caring about my answers
3. HR Manager: Behavioral questions and benefits related
4. Architect, DBA, Database developer: DBA and Database developer questions made sense and answered very well
Architect is asking questions which are not related to my experience. I felt he is trying to show his knowledge instead of listening what I am trying to explain. And questions are not properly framed. Expecting text book answers. No patience at all to listen. Questions are related to threading, IIS Admin etc.
2 rounds of interview. One being the face to face tech round and another face to face HR round
There was a brief telephone round of interview . The questions were not that technical it was mainly situaational
