The interview process was fairly simple and straightforward. I first spoke with a recruiter, who asked about my background and experience related to the role. Since the team and position are still new and growing, it sounded like they are still building out some parts of the role as they go. Because of that, they did not have all the answers to some of the questions I asked. They also mentioned that the full interview process would include four parts.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One question the recruiter asked was what tools I have used in previous roles that would help me succeed in this position. They also asked about my experience with specific tools related to the role and how I have used similar platforms in past work.

Interview
Initial screening call with the recruiter gives you a lot of excitement and hope about the company. If your profile matches the job description, they will send you a technical assessment on CodeSignal. I am not sure if they look at all the answers as it is pass or fail judged by CodeSignal, but I received a generic rejection email that referred to completing a case study when I actually did not get that far into the application process which is why I believe they have a one-size-fits-all rejection email ready for you. I read many negative reviews about the interview process but I personally will try to apply again in six months if there is still an opening as I would like to work for a start-up.
