Interview
Easy straight forward. Star question, team player, conflict, safety realated questions,
“During my final year, I completed an internship at a small manufacturing unit where I observed frequent delays in the assembly line due to improper material arrangement.”
T – Task:
“My supervisor asked me to study the process and suggest improvements to reduce idle time.”
A – Action:
“I observed the workflow for a week, noted bottlenecks, and found that workers were spending extra time searching for tools and materials. I suggested reorganizing the workstation layout using 5S principles and labeling storage areas clearly. I also helped implement the changes.”
R – Result:
“After the changes, material handling time was reduced by around 15%, and overall productivity improved. The supervisor appreciated my initiative and practical approach.”

It was one meeting, which started with a simple case study, and then went into the common behavioral questions. They were responsive and friendly. They did not put any time pressure or stress on me throughout the process

The interview process was smooth and professionally conducted, with the interviewers asking relevant and thoughtful questions. However, there appeared to be a noticeable preference toward candidates who are Chinese, which could influence the selection process.
