I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Solvere One (Dulles, VA) in Feb 2023
Interview
Very detailed interview process. Started with a brief call going over the role, and my resume. From there I had to go in office for an on site interview. They put Interview 2 and 3 all added together as the secondary interview. We went over Tech which included many questions with several different components related to I.T. From there the rest of the interview was seeing if the fit was right for both of us. I've never had a company share so much about the culture and make me feel like I was making the right choice. Culture is SUPER important for both employer and employee. I could tell they really care about their employees, and wanted to make sure everyone would interact well. They gave me a tour of the office which was very modern and full of actual smiling faces of employees as they worked. Beyond that they introduced me to upper management which appear to be super open to questions and ideas from ANYONE in the company. All-in-all this was probably one of my favorite places I've interviewed at. I was extended and offer and accepted right away.

Question 1
What systems are you familiar with and how in-depth. What would you do if a company called and have no internet? What would you do if all servers appeared offline in monitoring for a customer and all of the clients at that site are remote that day? Several questions about Active Directory. Realistically they asked me a ton of questions all over the board related to IT to see how I would handle a situation. Quite often the questions are written to try and stump you so it requires a bit of thinking. None of those boring questions that make you sleepy. After all the tech they asked me some personal questions like my favorite movie, hobbies, home life. At the end it felt like getting to know someone outside of the office, still professional but a lot more connecting which is nice! You can tell they really want to get to know each and everyone of the people that work.
Not thorough at all. Didn't ask many questions or explain the role well. They did not go over growth or the direction of the company. Would have preffered a better overview of what I would be doing and the training I'd be giving.
Interestingly, anyone we hire for this position would have gone through three different interviews, including a competency test. Your experience sounds like you took part in our initial phone interview. We appreciate your feedback and will review the questions and information provided during the initial phone interview. Cheers...
Short and simple with a few example scenarios along with basic personality related questions. The recruiter was very polite and made the process more relaxed. Overall would recommend applying if its one of your considerations.
