The interview process at Sosuv Consulting was well-structured, transparent, and conducted over two consecutive days. Here's a breakdown:
Day 1: Technical + HR Round
Started with a technical evaluation focusing on practical knowledge of SQL queries, basic Python, DSA (LeetCode easy to medium), and Linux command-line usage like pattern matching.
The interviewer asked me to write and explain code in Notepad while sharing my screen—testing both logical thinking and communication skills.
The HR segment followed, focusing on my background, interests, and willingness to relocate, while also giving insights into the company culture and expectations.
Day 2: Technical Managerial Round
This round focused more deeply on SQL (especially JOINs), basic array sorting, problem-solving, and Linux commands.
I was again asked to write code live in Notepad and explain it in real-time.
The session ended with a casual introduction to a senior team member who would later become my manager, although that wasn’t mentioned at the time.
After completing both rounds, I received a confirmation call the same day informing me that I had cleared the interviews and would be moving to the final discussion round with the leadership team.
Overall, the process was very candidate-friendly, with clear communication and timely updates. I appreciated how hands-on and practical the interview tasks were, reflecting the actual responsibilities of the role.
