I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sotheby's (New York, NY) in Mar 2025
Interview
The interview process was straightforward and more casual than I thought it’d be. The interviewer seemed unorganized and even asked me the same question twice. The interview lasted about 30 minutes and was focused more on personality questions than technicals.
Consisted of multiple rounds of interviews lasting between .25 to .5 hours. All interviews were one-on-one, had a different interviewer each time, and were conducted virtually. The overall interview experience across all rounds was primarily consistent with very typical behavioral-style interview questions / content.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Sotheby's (New York, NY)
Interview
Multiple rounds of interviews, including three rounds of easier conversational interviews and one interview built to test our art history knowledge and functionality during stress. The easier interview rounds felt redundant and the last interview felt rushed.
