The first stage of the process was a "cultural values" interview. In that, they ask non-technical questions, sometimes with a component of personal belief in my opinion. No questions about past experience or CV at this stage that I remember.
In my eyes, the context of a professional interview contrasted with the contents of the questions asked.
The explanation I find for them to perform the cultural interview before anything else is that they value a lot cultural alignment, more even than technical comptence.
Next time I talked with my recruiter I dropped my application.
