Was reached out to by technical recruiter within a week of applying online for the role. Quickly set up a 30 minute call with him which consisted of a brief walkthrough of my resume and some more focused questions on contributions to a project relevant to the role as well as some boilerplate questions about "Why SpaceX" and disclaimers about long working hours. At the end of that call, was sent a link to set up a call with the team lead engineer for the role. This call was about 45 minutes where about 35min were an EXTREMELY deep dive into a relevant project to the role as well as a puzzle sort of question at the end. Did not continue with the process from here but was informed that the next steps would be a live coding sessions with a couple of engineers followed by a final full-day onsite interview/tour and meeting the team. Overall a positive interview experience that moved very fast.
