I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at SpaceX (Brownsville, TX)
Interview
Had an initial HR interview for 15 minutes just as a screening. Then another 45 minute technical phone interview which asked a variety of fairly challenging fundamental questions (thermo, structures, fluids). Then got invited on-site where you give a 1-hour technical presentation followed by 4-5 30-minute 1-on-1's with the team leads. Overall a pretty long and technical process

Question 1
If you have a pressurized tank of air with a valve on it and then open the valve, what would the mass flow rate look like? And what would you need to know to determine that?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at SpaceX
Interview
The process consisted of two phone screens, one with a hiring manager and one with a senior engineer, and an onsite interview. The first call included behavioural and technical questions and the second call was almost exclusively technical.
Good interview process got asked a lot of technical questions first interview. Interesting since I was not the major for the role. I think it is pretty interesting interview tbh i don’t know
Started with a recruiter screening with 3 technical questions, then had a 30 minute technical interview with a manager followed by a 30 minute technical interview with a director. After that got an on site interview which consisted of a 30-minute technical presentation and then 5 one-on-one technical interviews/techinical walk-and-talks with various engineers, managers, and directors.
