I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SpaceX (Hawthorne, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
A recruiter came to campus. I met with them while they were recruiting and was invited to dinner that night. Dinner went well, and I got a call a week later from someone in HR that I was invited for an on-site interview in Hawthorne. I had to give a presentation on a technical project I did, and this lasted an hour including questions. If the presentation went well in their eyes, this would have transitioned to 1-on-1 interviews with the team members, but I suppose they wanted to see more engineering in my presentation, and I was told the 1-on-1's would not be happening.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at SpaceX
Interview
The process consisted of two phone screens, one with a hiring manager and one with a senior engineer, and an onsite interview. The first call included behavioural and technical questions and the second call was almost exclusively technical.
Good interview process got asked a lot of technical questions first interview. Interesting since I was not the major for the role. I think it is pretty interesting interview tbh i don’t know
Started with a recruiter screening with 3 technical questions, then had a 30 minute technical interview with a manager followed by a 30 minute technical interview with a director. After that got an on site interview which consisted of a 30-minute technical presentation and then 5 one-on-one technical interviews/techinical walk-and-talks with various engineers, managers, and directors.
