Interview
Met with HR first then the tech lead of the team I was interviewing for. The questions were more generic rather than too technical. The next round was supposed to be a take home exercise but they cut the process short.

Question 1
What was the last challenge you had and how did you solve it?
Quite an awkward meeting with a tech lead (a very prominent HN commenter). I've got quite negative vibes right from the start. My feeling is that either I didn't brag enough about how much I am an awesome-developer-slash-genius, or I simply look too old (~40, which was far more than the interviewer).
Although application required documenting open source contributions as well as auxiliary questions, these were not discussed.

Interview
I had a really nice informal call with 2 engineers introducing me to the company and asking me about myself and my current position. After which I was asked to do a take home exercise which I honestly really enjoyed doing.
After that I had an interactive code pairing session with 2 engineers for an hour where I added a feature to the code from the take home exercise. Discussing my choices and decisions and why I made them.
