The interview process was fairly quick and professional. The personnel that performed the interview were very professional and open to answer any questions that I presented.
After about a week I was telephone and told that I was the candidate that they selected for the position and given a verbal salary and potential start date but told I had to wait for the job offer to come through in my email.
After about three weeks, and numerous unanswered phone calls, I decided to contact the Maintenance Superintendent and was informed that I was not approved for the position by the corporate headquarters in Maryland.
I was told that I had the proper experience, from my time in the Navy's nuclear propulsion program, but that my lack of a degree (somewhat) kept me from getting the job, but I was mainly turned down because I wasn't wiling to relocate to Wisconsin for the job that was listed in Annapolis, MO.
First of all, why would I apply for a position in Missouri and be expected to move to Wisconsin?
Secondly, why would you call me and tell me that I had the job and give me a potential start date and a salary without having my offer approved through the corporate headquarters.
