      I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Spectrm (Berlin) in Jun 2023

      Interview

      First screening with the recruiter, then first interview with Sales Lead, second interview with exercise with Sales Lead, then I met the Head of P&C and some of the team, and ultimately had a final meeting with the Founder. I enjoyed the interviews and was asked to provide a reference as a final step after the founder call. Spectrm organized a reference call with a former manager of mine. I was then ghosted for a number of weeks. I received no responses to any of my communication. I sent multiple nudges through various channels (email, LinkedIn) to the different people I had spoken to during the process, asking for an update, and was met with radio silence. Perhaps 3 weeks later, I received an email to say had decided to pull this job opening completely and that they wouldn't be recruiting for this role after all. Spectrm completely wasted my time (multiple hours of call time as well as preparations), as well as that of my former manager, who gave up their time to have a reference call. The whole process left me with a very bad taste in my mouth and much frustration. However, with time, I realized this was a lucky escape for me. I have no intention of working for a company that demonstrates such a lack of professionalism, inability to commit to their own growth/hiring plans, and poor communication and disorganization.
