I applied online. I interviewed at Speedway in Sept 2014
Interview
I applied online and received a phone call for an interview a week later. I went in for the interview the hr lady suggested I continue to apply as a Co-Manager Trainee since I didnt have much recent experience in retail. I agreed and continued with the interview process. She called me the next day to move me forward with another interview with the district manager. After the interview with the district manager I havent heard anything back, almost a month now.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were behavorial. Tell me about yourself, Why do you want to work for Speedway, Name a time you went above and beyond for a customer, Have you ever fired someone, how many people have you managed, etc. The second interview was the same format, it only last 10 minutes.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Speedway (Greenville, NC) in May 2019
Interview
Three interviews in total. First is a phone screening, then a video interview, then an in-person interview. They went on to focus on asking questions regarding retail experience and whether or not a person has the right qualifications for the position.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Speedway (Springdale, OH) in Mar 2016
Interview
Got callback next day after applying. Short phone interview screening. Personal interview later that week that lasted about 45 minutes. Received letter in mail the following week saying I was not a proper fit. Everyone I dealt with was professional and courteous.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Speedway in Aug 2015
Interview
Great interview, just not going to get my hopes up nor put all my eggs into one basket. Teresa was great to talk too made me feel at home. Wish I would have asked questions at the end however I did hand her my cover letter, resume and personal references. Hopefully I go through the other stage of the interview process. Sounds like a good job opportunity along with challenges to fit my career choice.
