I applied online and heard back about a week later to schedule a phone interview with HR. That went fine and afterwards they wanted to schedule a call with the manager. Days passed without hearing anything until finally HR sent me a calendar invite, but at a time I did not list as available. It was eventually adjusted to suit my availability. The call with the manager was bizarre; completely monotone and asking very banal questions. She even confessed she doesn't get very excited about much of anything -- not for me. 2 weeks later HR emailed me a form letter that they'd decided on another candidate.
