The process began very positively, with a professional phone call from HR. During the first three weeks, communication was consistent, including interviews and assignments — it was intense but felt constructive and respectful.
However, during the final stages, the tone shifted. Communication became inconsistent, and some of the messages I received were unclear or even contradictory. At one point, a salary offer was made over the phone, but afterward, the communication ceased completely — calls were not returned, and updates were not provided.
Eventually, I received a rejection call, but surprisingly, it came from the person I had been in close contact with throughout. This was puzzling, especially since the only explanation given was a general statement that the company had decided to move forward with other candidates — just two days after a salary offer had been extended.
