Interviewed as a TPM for the security team. If I'm being self critical, it definitely wasn't my best interview. Having said that, for as bad as I think I did, the company did so much worse. Company definitely has some major cultural issues. Firstly, almost nobody seems to get a proper follow up after an interview and just gets ghosted. Secondly, I had four rounds of interviews and the setting for two of those were definitely not neutral and incredibly distracting. Thirdly, a majority of the things the hiring manager told me during the initial interview were contradicted by others folks in his own org and by the interview process itself. Lastly, I've never had an interviewer during an interview blatantly name call and criticize folks from their own team while doing a number of other things (Which I appreciated their brutal honesty to my cultural questions since everyone else on his team lied during the interviews and it ultimately led to me withdrawing my application). I wanted this job badly, mainly because it would have been a solid pay bump. It was honestly the worst and oddest interview process I've ever been involved in. But as I learned a very long time ago....don't ever ignore red flags, embrace them and move on. No amount of money would have been worth the the level of struggle that was probably waiting for me in this place.
