Hi there,
Thank you for your feedback, and I’m sorry to hear that your interview experience wasn’t a great one for you. Our initial calls are meant to be informal and conversational—a chance for you to learn about Circuit and an opportunity for you to share your work experience and help us get to know you better, so I apologize if it felt anything less than that.
At Circuit, we pride ourselves on transparency; part of that is being honest about the “trade-offs” that come with how we work. Our remote, flexible, autonomous working style is very appealing to many, but we understand that this can be challenging for some, especially if you’re used to more traditional, in-house work environments. The autonomy can feel disconcerting for new folks as they settle in, and working async/remote may feel a little lonely compared to an in-person team, but many find that the flexibility and freedom are well worth it in the end.
I’m sorry again if this wasn’t clearly communicated during our conversation. We value every interaction and continuously aim to improve. Best of luck with your future opportunities, and thank you again for considering Circuit.
Sadie (Talent Manager)
