Interview
Initially contacted by a recruitment partner who provided a take home task. This was followed by a call with the recruitment partner, a meeting with the manager, a 90 minute interview (competency and demo) and then final call with the head of CS. The whole process took approximately 4 weeks. Everyone I met was positive and painted a really great picture of the company and the culture in Sprout. The interview process was genuinely superb and it was clear that everyone I met really championed the company.

Name one of your biggest gaps, how are you managing it?
What will be your biggest challenge in the role?
My first screening interview was with a lively, engaged recruiter who asked great questions and made me feel exceptionally welcome and excited about the opportunity. Unfortunately my second interview with the hiring manager was extremely impersonal, to the point where I questioned if the hiring manager on screen was actually AI. They did not take any time to get to know me, read questions off to me rapid-fire like they were being launched from a cannon, and did not ask any follow-up questions nor engage in any conversation. Obviously, I was not selected to move forward nor would I have enjoyed working in such an environment. Please have some humanity in the workforce!

Process took about 3 rounds plus a take home assignment. I applied online and then spoke with a recruiter, then the hiring manager, take home assignment, and then ended with a presentation style panel interview. Total time took almost a month.

The process was really long, by the end I interviewed with six people. It was also very drawn out considering each meeting was 30 minutes except for the panel interview.
