Had the initial phone screen with the recruiter in September. Recruiter said I was a great fit and we'd be scheduling next steps right away (I'm a senior level at the largest bank in the US), so it all lined up. Was ghosted by the recruiter. I reached out on linkedin, via phone, via email a few times between Oct and Nov without a peep. I get a generic email update 4 MONTHS later in January saying they are moving on from my candidacy. Incredibly unprofessional - to be honest it wouldn't surprise me if this role wasn't actually hiring to begin with...
