I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at St. Joseph's Health (Wayne, NJ) in Aug 2024
Interview
I received an email from a staff member, scheduled an interview and attended an interview. It was a very pleasant process. I met with the director and direct manager of the position. It was quick and they clearly explained the process and when I would hear back, and I did hear back in that time frame.

Question 1
As I was switching the type of nursing, of course the question pertained to why I was making the switch, and what interested me about this new opportunity.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at St. Joseph's Health (Paterson, NJ)
Interview
Quick and easy. They called me right away and had scheduled interview. It was chill but I dont know how I did to be honest. They said I just have to wait for the HR’s call. So yeah hopefully it is ok.

I interviewed at St. Joseph's Health (Petaluma, CA)
Interview
Group interview. The clinical director was cold, abrupt, and rude...while flipping through my resume (I have outstanding work references) he was challenged by my decades in hospice, and could only focus on why I had moved, trying to underline what he perceived as a lack of "stability", insulting me... and lacked the management skill set to discover what I could bring to their current challenges. The worst interview I have ever endured in over 20 years of nursing and nurse management.

Question 1
Why did you move? Are you willing to do a night shift and stay at the office over night?
