I was extremely lucky to just have one face to face interview to secure an internship position. It all started out when Standard Chartered Bank sent a mass email to my school for a recruitment exercise. I submitted my resume and cover letter, thereafter I was called for a face to face interview.

Online assessment (pyrometrics, hirevue). Assessment centre with other applicants. Includes a case study where discussion was watched on by team members and HR then interview with team members. Final interview with manager.

this is the internship program partnering with the university of Hong Kong
there are only 3 rounds, pretty easy to me:
resume screening -> hr group interview -> talk with manager -> done
seemed intimidating but was actually pretty chill. use STAR method for all behavioral questions. basic questions nothing technical. after that final interview call with HR and team lead. financial markets intern role
