      Senior Scientist Interview

      3 Mar 2013
      Anonymous employee
      Calgary, AB
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Stantec (Calgary, AB) in May 2011

      Interview

The company was actively recruiting me, so the interview process was based on a number of informal meetings. Discussions were primarily based on business direction because I was starting a new group and a new service area for that profit center.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

You have to be prepared to describe what you want out of the company and also how much you want to get paid. The interview process is not particularly sophisticated and is typically based on asking you if you have experience in various areas.
