      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Starkey (New York, NY)

      Interview

Very extensive interview process; it allows you to get to know the company just as much as they get to know you. Had to give presentation and full day of interviews

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Starkey in Jun 2024

      Interview

Several interviews spanning months, with a test that led to a "We're not sure what we're looking for". Which was very time consuming, given some panels were 3 hours long.

      Project Manager Interview

      28 Sept 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Minneapolis, MN
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Starkey (Minneapolis, MN) in Aug 2018

      Interview

Interesting....they reached out to me in a recruiting effort to set up a phone interview. I had heard good thing about Starkey, so I agreed. Had troubles getting a set time to have a phone screen, but did finally get it taken care of. Had a 30 minute phone screen that ended with the HR contact giving me some very specific instructions and dates that follow up would occur. I had hoped that she would have followed through with keeping the interview on task, as I spend a good amount of time making sure I completed the pre-employment online assessment, etc. for them because they were really looking to move things along quickly. There was no follow up. I ended up having to email the HR manager a couple times to try to get some kind of answer on where things were in the process. Got a typical brush off...as she stated that she hadn't been able to connect with the hiring manager to discuss thing. Fast forward 2 weeks later - zero communication about status, etc. I would have expected more out of Starkey - even if I was not to be a candidate they were going to move forward, any communication is better than no communication. Its unfortunate that their hiring practices are as unprofessional as I just described. In a tough job market with talent hard to come by, you would figure that they would have strong follow up and professionalism regarding their potential talent pool rather than ignoring candidates, etc.
