      Video Editor Interview

      29 Nov 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Kuala Lumpur
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I interviewed at Steampunk (Kuala Lumpur)

      Interview

The interview process was straightforward and structured. I first had a short screening call with HR to talk about my background, followed by a portfolio review where I explained a few of my past projects. After that, I had a technical interview with the creative lead, where they asked about my editing workflow, preferred software, and how I handle tight deadlines. The final stage was a short editing task to test my speed and style. Overall, the communication was clear and the interviewers were friendly.

      Question 1

Q: What was the one thing that they asked you? They asked me to explain how I would handle a situation where a client keeps changing the project direction last-minute.
