Interview
Just one round of one hour long interview. First asked about behavioral questions like why stepstone, why this team, etc. Then asked questions on DCF and valuations. Overall, very easy process as long as you vibe with the interviewers and ask questions.
Almost entirely behavioral — focused on your story and motivations. Expect deep dives on why StepStone Group, why secondaries investing (TMAY), and how your background lines up with their strategy. They’ll test clarity of thought, conviction, and whether your “why” holds up under pressure.
Internship interview, basically just background questions about your experiences, and your understandings of the company, what do you know about the company and the position. Also you can ask about your questions.

Interview
The off-cycle internship has one round online interview and one case study. Received an offer after around 1-2 weeks after the case study. The interview was carried out by analysts, no senior people involved in the process.
