Brief 15 mins phone screening which lead to a 30 min in person interview with the direct hiring manager to talk a little bit about my work history and dug a little deeper into my skills and experience. That in person interview lead to a 20 min follow up phone interview from the hiring manager's manager who asked about broad experiences from my past work. I had to chase down the hiring recruiter who ghosted me for 2 weeks to finally tell me I did not make the cut. overall a pretty east process but the fact that they left me hanging for over two weeks seems to bother me more then it should. Its not that hard to send off a quick "thanks but no thanks" template email to candidates.

The process is slightly backwards, but in a good way! I started the process by shadowing a current employee for ~30 minutes in order to get a sense of the job. I took notes on what I saw and was later allowed time to ask questions and discuss my thoughts on what I witnessed. It gave me a great sense of what the job will entail, compared to just a written job description.
