I interviewed at StraightIn's new branch in Singapore. The process consisted of three rounds: a call with the Head of People, followed by an interview with the Sales Director, and finally, a session with the CEO. I received positive feedback throughout and felt confident about my performance. After the final interview, I was told the decision would be made within two weeks. However, after discussing salary expectations with HR and being promised a result by the end of the day, I received an email stating a delay in the decision until after the weekend. Since then, despite multiple follow-ups with both the HR and CEO, I have received no response for over two months. This lack of communication and closure has been extremely disappointing since I was informed that the result would surely be declared as there were only 4 people left in the final round. While the initial stages were professional, the prolonged silence after the final interview despite follow-ups was not expected from the team. I hope the team improves their candidate communication practices in the future.
