Strauss interview questions

They replied to my with an automated bot, asking me to do a personal, recorded video interview, where I answer a bunch of questions while they can look at me and there is no other side. This 'employers market' that we've arrived to has been driven into the known annoyance issue that companies require you to do some online test before getting an interview, and it's annoying but at least known. but this thing? to record myself in a personal interview answering a bunch of questions without other side that even take the minimum amount of time to interview me? that's insane. and from a company that's known to pay their employees low salaries at best. I also heard from a guy I knew that wen't through the same process and did the interview - he was just fired from there after 1 year of employment, "because they were downsizing".... ridiculous.
