I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Studio Theatre in Mar 2019
Interview
The first interview was just a phone screening done by a current apprentice, and it covered a few basic questions about why I was interested in Studio Theatre and the program specifically. A few weeks later, I received an email asking me to Skype in for a second round interview with the department heads. This interview consisted of behavioral questions and technical questions about the department.

I applied online. I interviewed at Studio Theatre (Washington, DC) in Aug 2014
Interview
First you need to send your Resume and CV via email. After few weeks, you will receive an email asking available time for a phone interview. The interview was straight forward and you know the result right after the interview.
Over the course of almost 2 months, I had an initial screening phone call followed up by a FaceTime call with one of their employees, and then made it to the final round with a Skype call to the marketing team. The time waiting in between to see if I made it to the next round was fairly long. Everyone I interacted with was very kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable. They took a while to get back to me after following up about my interviewing status, but apologized for the time it took. I understand that everyone gets busy, but maybe consider setting up automatic emails updating applicants on their status even if it's very brief. Overall, I had a good impression of the company but it just didn't work out.
